The Evangelism Ministry

Our Evangelism ministry aims to equip believers to articulate and share the good news of the faith, leading others to know and accept Jesus as the giver of eternal life, in this present life and beyond. Our training aims to equip and encourage us go out and put our love for Jesus Christ into practise as we meet real people, who are yet to discover God's love and purpose for their lives.

Winter Shelter

The Haringey Churches Winter Shelter mission started in 2009.
(The Shelter is now closed)

As a church, we participated in this work annually, during the coldest months of the year - January to March from 2009 to 2020.

We provided a warm place to stay overnight, meals, showers, signposting to other statutory services as appropriate. We offered warmth, friendship, and prayer and proactively assisted our guests to break the cycle of homelessness.

However, at present, we offer small food parcels and other practical or essential items whenever anyone drops by, usually on Wednesday or Sunday. email: woodberrydown01@aol.com

Woodberry Recovery

Woodberry Recovery is run by compassionate volunteers who are reaching out to anyone struggling with life-controlling issues and destructive behavioural patterns; from the addictive gambler, alcohol or drug user to those trapped in porn, eating issues, self-harm, and other battles in between, even those enslaved in panic, anger, fearful and anxious thoughts patterns.

We offer teaching and advice for people in recovery, through a coaching course.
We also run group support sessions and creative and wellness workshops. These are intended to help alleviate isolation and loneliness. Alongside these group meetings we also offer peer support and mentoring.

All our meetings enable people to see how they are not alone in their struggles, that people do care and that there is help and hope.
